Nashville is booming and Collaborative Studio is growing. We are looking for a skilled Project Architect to join our team. Critical skills needed for success:
- Experience with Technology – ability to use software solutions for project management and design. We are an innovative firm using a variety of software solutions such as Revit, Asana, Ajera, SmartSheet, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office and more.
- Servant Leadership & Humility – wiliness to pitch in as needed to ensure our projects are successful and our clients are satisfied.
- A/E Technical Savviness –working knowledge of CDs, code requirements, construction practices, and industry standards.
- Leadership – mentor and guide the client and team members, manage projects from inception to completion and lead by example.
- Attention to Detail & Process-Oriented – adapting to the studio processes and standards ensures consistency for our clients and a nimbleness with our team.
You will be:
- Providing leadership to projects by guiding the client through the process and managing the team to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Creating comprehensive design solutions including concepts, space planning, 3-d sketches, material selections, detailing and related documentation.
- Participating in studio management, including project and team development.
- Overseeing production of Construction Documents: managing the internal team to produce detail Construction Documents.
- Coordinating project design with external consultants and vendors, including MPE, AV, IT, furniture, security, artwork, and signage.
- Coordinating with contractors during the construction phase of the work.
- Understanding industry standards and codes necessary to develop project designs.
- Participating in business development activities to promote the firm.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in the A/E industry
- Active architectural licensure and NCARB certification

Senior Interior Architect/Designer for Corporate | Hospitality Team
Collaborative Studio is searching for an Interior Architect or Senior Interior Designer to focus on managing and expanding our Corporate and Hospitality portfolio in the Nashville area. - Taking ownership of business development and jointly pursuing each opportunity with the team.
- Cultivating client relationships in the corporate and hospitality industries.
- Maintaining the client relationship to ensure the highest client satisfaction.
- Engaging in various business networking activities to grow the practice.
- Actively participating in the RFP process and able to pursue and secure business via this method.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in the A/E industry in Corporate Office and/or Hospitality design.

Junior Architect or Interior Designer
Design-focused Architectural firm located in Nashville, TN is seeking a self-driven individual with 0-3 years of experience in architectural interiors. The right candidate is an independent thinker who thrives on small group collaboration and a fast-paced. This person must be motivated, detailed-orientated, confident voicing their opinion within a team, and possess a positive “get it done” attitude.
The candidate should be able to:
- Perform interior design assignments that include conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration.
- Collaborate effectively with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Provide design support for completion and execution of design projects.
- Participate in selection of materials and FF&E.
- Assist with project team coordination for the plans, specifications, and materials.
- Perform general administrative office activities
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- Minimum of 0-3 years in the A/E industry
- Proficient use of software: MS Office, REVIT & AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others
- Ability to adapt to the studio processes and standards to implement project deliverables
- Ability to creative designs and communicate ideas: verbally, written and graphically
- Ability to listen, comprehend and respond to information presented
